This gate is actually very pretty in my home!! It’s a matte black and the quality is superb. Easy to use, easy to install, and seems super durable!! The height is great as well.

If you have stairs, or a space not friendly to dogs, kids or other pets, a gate is a very useful addition to your home. This gate is great, includes all the hardware you need to setup, and the coating is durable and feels like it should last many years. Coming from some cheaper wooden gates, I am impressed with the all metal construction, which offers some resistance to chewing by stubborn pets that do not want to be blocked.
The gate comes well packed in a slim but large box, and installs in a few minutes.
Ordered this for our large dog, to keep him from being able to go downstairs. He's able to jump pretty high, so a normal baby gate (that we had from when our kids were younger) was easy for him to jump. Especially since we were putting it at the top of a set of stairs, to keep him from going in the basement, we didn't want him to even consider trying to jump it, as he would end up landing several steps down and likely hurt himself badly.
This product arrived well packaged and was easy to install. Our doggie doesn't seem to have even considered trying to jump it. Even when our cat scurried through it down the stairs, and he was wanting to follow; he just peered through it and whined.
We're all quite happy with this product. Okay, maybe our dog isn't happy about it; but it's definitely keeping him safe!
I love how tall this is because size matters! lol I had another gate that I needed to bend all the time to open, so I would just skip over it most of the time. This makes it easier to keep kids and big dogs from opening it or jumping over. It is very sturdy and easy to install as well. I think one of the best parts is that I don't need to damage my wall/doorway to put screws in, and I can easily take this with me on vacations, which will be great!
For the price, quality, and size--this is the best gate I've had.
